"DUPAGE COUNTY NEEDS TIM ELLIOTT’S ETHICAL LEADERSHIP

I am supporting Tim Elliott for DuPage County Board. Tim has the experience, the integrity and the record of public service that will benefit the families of District 4.  Tim is a fiscal conservative, who will demand balanced budgets and disciplined spending on the County Board.  He is committed to open, transparent government.

Tim Elliot is a dedicated family man who has made increased public safety, fighting heroin and enhanced senior services a cornerstone of his campaign.

Tim Elliot’s highest priority will be representing the interests of the District with integrity.  DuPage County needs Tim Elliott’s ethical, principled leadership."

TIM ELLIOTT WILL KEEP OUR FAMILIES SAFE

No issue is of greater importance to DuPage families that the safety of their children and their neighborhoods.  That is why I am endorsing

Tim Elliott for DuPage County Board District 4.

Tim respects all who serve in law enforcement.  Tim Elliott will make the fiscally conservative choices that will hold the line on taxes and allow us to prioritize spending.  When the County is running at maximum efficiency, we can afford to fully fund all of our law enforcement offices.

Our officers put themselves in harm’s way every day. Tim Elliott will make sure our officers have access to the latest in technology and state of the art equipment that will protect these officers and help them do their jobs.

I hope you will join me in supporting

Tim Elliott.

“When it really comes down to it, what voters want more than anything else, is their elected officials to be people of character;  people who gather all of the facts and then use good judgement when making policy decisions.  That is why I am voting for Tim Elliott to represent me on the DuPage County Board.

for Dupage County Board District 4

10/11/2016 The Daily Herald Editorial Board

A pair of excellent candidates, Republican Tim Elliott and Democrat Khizar Jafri, will face off this November for a four-year term in DuPage County Board District 4. Both are new to the county board scene but have an excellent understanding of the issues.

The advantage, though, goes to Elliott, an attorney from Glen Ellyn who has built a strong resume over the past 10 years serving as a village trustee and on the DuPage Water Commission. He is a fiscal conservative who supports the board's successful efforts to hold the line on property taxes and its attempts to pursue government consolidation. He wants to take a long-term view of what should happen at the county fairgrounds, he wants DuPage to focus on reducing its debt and he supports body cameras for sheriff's deputies -- although he says improving the department's vehicle fleet is an even bigger priority.

Jafri is a finance and accounting consultant from Wheaton who lives up to his billing as a financial conservative and social moderate. He has a very good understanding of most of the issues facing the county. We'd like to see him appointed to a county advisory panel to help him gain experience to set up what can be a bright political future.

For now, though, Elliott is endorsed because of his knowledge, experience and independent voice.

District 4 covers all or parts of Addison, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Glen Ellyn, Glendale Heights, Lisle, Lombard, Wheaton and Winfield.
